• All fresh stock has a shelf life of 10 months. We recommend you buy for a maximum 6-month usage period.
• Short-dated stock is should be used within 3 months of purchase. After that time, it will begin to lose its strength.

USAGE & SPECIFICATIONS

• Durable: Tough enough to withstand domestic and international shipping
• Stickable: We do extensive QA testing of these bags with our compostable courier labels and others, but if you have your own labels we recommend purchasing a sample first to test
• Flat: No gusset, but some stretch
• Opaque: Only our black mailers are completely opaque. All other colours are slightly transparent (see image gallery above)
• Reusable: Our largest size bags have two seals for reuse. Black Dirt Bags - XXL and Uber, also carry our Tote-ally reusable design which has instructions for how they can be reused as carry bags.

MATERIALS

Made from corn starch, PLA (synthesised from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate).

This combination of materials is non-toxic and contains no Phthalate or Bisphenol A (BPA). The inputs to our products are also certified free of GMO material

END OF USE

We cannot guarantee the mailers’ performance beyond the shelf life.

In a home compost, the mailer will biodegrade in 3-6 months and can also be commercially composted.

These mailers will be broken down naturally by microbes (biodegradation) in a composting environment. They will NOT create microplastics.
